7mm Remington Magnum
Happy Anniversary to this round! Remington first introduced the 7mm Remington Magnum in 1962 along with the then new 700 model rifle. The 7mm Remington Magnum is based on the belted magnum family that is derived from the .375 H & H Magnum. This is a very flat shooting round and is great for large game at long distance. Sniper Teams saw the advantage of the 7mm Remington Magnum years ago. The 7mm Remington Magnum’s bullets have far superior ballistics than 30 caliber bullets in the same weight range. The current bullets designed by Bryan Litz are ballistic ally superior to all but the .338 and .50 BMG.
