Are you sure your Pistol Caliber Carbine is clean? Using Bore Tech PCC jags you get the length you need to really clean these barrels. These are 9mm diameter but are much longer than a pistol 9mm Jag. It gets your longer barrel clean faster.
When you use proof positive jags, the jag doesn't contaminate the coloration on the cleaning patch. If it comes out blue, you still have copper in the barrel. If it comes out grey/brown, you still have a carbon build up. If they come out black, you should have cleaned it sooner!
